Bromeliad guzmania is one of the easiest houseplants to grow and their unique growth habit and bright flower bracts are a perfect plant to brighten any room.  These plants do best in a loose, well-drained potting mix, and prefer a humid environment (or occasional misting from a spray bottle if humidity is an issue).
