Flapjacks Kalanchoe is a succulent plant with thick, rounded, paddle-shaped leaves that take on a reddish or deep pink tint in brighter light.  Like any succulent, they prefer a sandy or loamy variety of soil such as a cacti or succulent potting mix.  Flapjacks will be most happy in a warm sunny spot indoors and in the summer months can be used in an outdoor annual container.
