Tradescantia zebrina (Wandering Jew) is a trailing houseplant with attractive, lance-shaped, green to purple leaves with two wide, silvery stripes, while the lower leaf is solid magenta. Grown as a houseplant, it will hang beautifully in a hanging basket, trailing gracefully over the edges. Flowers are rosy-purple but rarely appear when grown indoors.
