The very trendy and more rare Raven ZZ Plant has purple-black shiny leaves that almost look fake. It can sprout lime green leaves that turn darker as they mature. It has tuberous rhizomes that store water, so they only need water every 2 weeks or longer. Make sure the soil is completely dried out before you water. It is a slow growing plant that can eventually grow 3 to 4 feet high. They do well in any light conditions and can thrive in a low light area such as a office with small windows. It will grow faster with more light. 

Fertilize in spring and summer with an organic fertilizer such as Evolve Indoor Fertilizer.
