Golden beets are a golden-orange color throughout.  They are tender-fleshed with a mild, sweet taste.  Their tops make excellent greens.  They do not bled color when they are cooked or pickled.

Planting Instructions: Sow seed when the danger of frost is over in well worked, fertile soil.  Firm soil around seeds to ensure good germination.  Carefully thin seedlings when they are large enough to handle.  Keep soil evenly moist.  Thin beets regularly to ensure good growth.  Harvest some beets at 1-2" in size, letting the remainder grow larger.
